Role: Quantity Surveyor

What is the job?

Roma Homes are looking to employ a quantity surveyor who has an interest to operate in a broad role across multiple areas of a development project. The job will offer a unique opportunity to work directly with and receive further training by Roma Homes’ Development Director who has over 30 years of experience in Commercial Management, Contracts Management, Design Coordination, and Procurement. 

What Qualifications and Experience do I need?

The successful candidate will hold, or be working towards, an accredited Quantity Surveying Qualification to degree level. Experience gained from working within a Quantity Surveying Practice or a Main Contractor environment would also be beneficial.  

What is the Position and Pay?

  • Full-time Quantity Surveyor
  • Permanent Role, based at Roma Homes’ Head Office in Sandgate, Folkestone. 
  • £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending upon experience) 
 

Role: Senior Site Manager

What is the job?

Roma Homes are looking to employ an experienced, qualified and competent senior site manager to oversee the delivery of new build residential development schemes. The land bank of Roma Homes consists of some exceptional sites in planning for developments of up to circa 50 homes. The job will offer the opportunity to work directly with the Roma Homes development director who has over 30 years of experience in contracting including engagement with the Directors of the company. 

What Qualifications and Experience do I need?

The candidate must have a minimum of 8 year’s experience as a senior site manager overseeing the delivery of new build residential developments in excess of 10 units. This experience must be recent and demonstrable. The candidate must also hold a valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid Cert including HNC/HND or higher qualifications in a relevant construction discipline.

What is the Position and Pay?

  • Full-time 
  • Permanent Role, based at Roma Homes’ developments in South-East Kent. 
  • £55,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending upon experience)
